50% Cash Back on First Swipe with Hong Leong Debit Card

From 8th August 2014 until 30th June 2015, new Hong Leong Debit Cardholders are entitled to get 50% cash back on first swipe with your new debit card! The promotion is open to selected new Hong Leong Debit Cardholders only, who are Malaysians and have received a SMS from Hong Leong Bank (HLB).

Eligible customers will need to swipe a minimum of RM 30 in a single receipt for the month upon receiving the SMS in order to enjoy the cash back. The cash back is limited to the first 100 cardholders each month. Each eligible customer is only entitled to 1 time cash back throughout the promotion period and the cash back is capped at maximum RM 25 per customer.

The promotion commences on the 8th of every month and ends on the last day of every month based on the month the eligible cardholders receive the SMS from the bank. For example, if an eligible cardholder receive a SMS from HLB on 8th August 2014, the eligibility for the computation of the cash back entitlement shall end on 31st August 2014.

Retail transactions that are eligible for cash back include point-of-sale purchases, online purchases, auto-billing and Touch’n Go reloads. The cash back will be credited into the eligible cardholders’ CASA within 8 weeks after the end of the month. SMS will be sent to the successful cardholders once the cash back is credited into their CASA. The list of successful cardholders will also be posted on HLB website.
