Enjoy Cash Rebates with Maybank Auto PayBills

How do you pay your utility, telco, broadband and Astro bills? Is it by online bill payment or at the counter? From 18th September to 31st December 2013, Maybank is giving out cash rebates for its AMEX, MasterCard and Visa Credit Cardmembers who enrol for the Auto PayBills service.

Just enrol for Auto PayBills with the following service providers to enjoy great rewards:

1. Astro
2. Celcom
3. Digi
4. Maxis
5. Tenaga Nasional Berhad
6. TM (excluding Unifi)

Upon enrollment, you will get RM 15 cash rebate per service provider. If you're the first 1000 Maybank AMEX Cardmembers to enrol for Auto PayBills with a minimum of 2 service providers, you can get an additional Starbucks Card worth RM 20.

You need to cancel your Auto PayBills services with other banks first (if any) before enrolling for Auto PayBills services through Maybank Card to avoid double billing and late billing. Auto PayBills service needs 4 to 8 weeks to be activated.  You should continue to pay your bills as usual until your Auto PayBills service is reflected in your Credit Card statement.

Total amount of cash rebates to be given away is capped at RM 90000 throughout the campaign period and based on first-come-first-served basis. The fulfillment of RM 20 Starbucks Card and amount of cash rebates will be credited into Cardmember's account within 4 to 6 weeks after the campaign ends.

Pay TNB Bill with AMEX and Get 100% Cash Back

Payment for TM Streamyx & Unifi with AMEX via maybank2u were enabled early this year. You can even pay for TNB bill with AMEX via maybank2u now and stand a chance to get 100% cash back on your TNB bill when you pay with your AMEX card from 1st May until 31st October 2013.

The promotion is open to all AMEX cards issued by Maybank & Maybank Islamic. Every RM50 bill payment will entitle you 1 entry if you pay over-the-counter or online while you can get 10 entries if your TNB bill is paid via Autopay. AutoPay gives you the convenience of paying your monthly bills automatically with your AMEX card. To enrol, just complete this form and email to Maybankard Centre.

The winners are selected based on lucky draw basis. Each principal cardmember is entitled to one time cash back only. The cash back payout will be made to one of the highest amount of bill transacted during the campaign period, capped at maximum RM 1000 per cardmember. Total cash back will be capped at RM 150 000 throughout the campaign period. The winners will be announced by 31st December 2013.

How to Pay TM Bill with Maybankard 2 AMEX

Previously you need to enrol for Express Autopay if you wish to pay your utilities with AMEX. However, now you can pay your TM bill (Streamyx or Unifi) via maybank2u with AMEX!

I'll walk you through on how to add your TM bill to favourite payee and make payment:

1. After you login maybank2u, go to Quick Link on the upper right hand corner, choose Bill Payment from the drop down menu and click Go.

2. On the Bill Payment page, go to 3rd column and 3rd row, click Add favourite payee.

3. From the drop down menu, choose Telekom Malaysia Berhad and click Continue.

4. Key in your TM account number and account holder name, then click Register.

5. Click Request a TAC number, check ur SMS, key in then click Confirm.

6. After registration is successful, it will display the registration information and status.

7. To pay for TM bill, go to Bill Payment page, click Make a Payment to a favourite payee.

8. Select Telekom Malaysia Berhad from the drop down menu and click Continue.

9. Key in the amount to pay, select Maybankard AMEX as the payment from, click Continue.

10. Double check the payment details and then click Confirm.

11. Payment status will show successful if everything is correct.

TM Bills Auto Debit Discount

I guess majority of us are customers of Telekom Malaysia (TM), either in phone, Streamyx, Streamyx combo or UNIFI package. Do you know that TM will give auto pay discount for customers who auto debit their monthly bills?

Auto debit is a service which service providers charge the monthly bills automatically to the customers' credit cards/saving accounts/current accounts. For TM, only credit cards issued by local banks and charge cards are accepted for auto debit.

For my monthly Streamyx Combo bills, I get to enjoy RM4 auto debit discount as I auto debit to my credit card.

So how to sign up for the auto debit service? You can either get the auto debit form from your credit card provider or go to TM point to get the auto debit form.
