Caltex Journey Card

The Journey card from Caltex is a free loyalty card that rewards you every time you purchase petrol at selected Caltex Stations. The Journey card has partnered with BCARD where you can earn and redeem points at various merchants.

Every petrol (RON95/ RON97) purchase of 1 litre will earn you 1 reward point. Mart item purchases are not entitled for reward points. There must be a minimum of 100 reward points accumulated before redemption can be made. You can redeem for petrol (RON95/ RON 97), c-store items and lubricants but not for diesel.

Other than that, the Journey card just acts like an ordinary BCARD. To earn reward points at BCARD participating merchants, just present your Journey card at the counter every time you pay. You can redeem your points for desired purchases at any of the BCARD participating merchants as well.

To apply for Journey card, you just need to follow 3 simple steps below:

1. Visit the nearest participating Caltex station and fill in the application form.
2. Submit your completed form at the payment counter.
3. Collect your new journey card on the spot.

Tune BIG Card

Tune BIG is a reward program which you can earn loyalty points (BIG Points) for free AirAsia flights. There are two types of membership, one with free membership and no card issuance, another is a 2-in-1 member card cum VISA Prepaid debit card.

Both types of membership let you earn points on flights and shopping (shopBIG), redeem free flights and hotel packages. For the BIG Visa Prepaid, you just need to pay RM 10 for one time joining fee, then you will be entitled to earn BIG Points (RM 2 = 1 BIG Point) whenever you spend at any VISA accepted merchants worldwide and BIG Partners. Besides, there is no processing fee imposed if you pay your AirAsia booking with BIG Visa Prepaid.

You can also convert your loyalty points from participating partners to BIG Points in order to fly for free. Redemptions are available at a mere start from 100 BIG Points.

Occasionally there is also exclusive promotion for BIG Shots (BIG members) to redeem air tickets, as shown on the picture above. If you like travelling, I would recommend you to sign up as a BIG Shot ASAP if you've not done so.

BCard

There's a new customer loyalty card in town called BCARD which is owned and managed by BLoyalty Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation Berhad. BCARD is Malaysia’s premier lifestyle and brand-focused reward program, partnering with merchants from various industries and businesses to offer their members an unparalleled value for their lifestyle choices.

I did a quick comparison between BCARD and BonusLink, the most popular customer loyalty card in Malaysia. Below is my findings:
