AmBank Mother's Day Special FD

Mother's Day will fall on 12th May this year. AmBank is having a FD promotion campaign from 6th May to 31st May 2013 to celebrate Mother's Day. The campaign is exclusively for new and existing female customers.

There are two types of promotion under Mother's Day Special Campaign:

CASA & Credit Card   Bundle FD	9 months	3.65% p.a.

For both promotions, customer needs to have a CASA with AmBank. It is only for AmBank to bank in the interest of the FD, not bundle with the deposit fund. In order to enjoy additional 0.10% p.a. interest rate, customer can choose to apply for AmBank credit card. Card which is cancelled in less than 6 months and reapplied during the campaign period will not be considered as new application.


The additional of 0.10% p.a. is subjected to a minimum spending of RM 350 for Gold Card and RM 500 for Visa Signature and Platinum Cards within 2 months from the card’s approval date. The promotional rate of 3.65% p.a. shall only be accorded for a deposit placement on a maximum of RM 200000 for each eligible customer. Any FD placement exceeding the amont shall only enjoy 3.55% p.a. interest rate.

This is a very good chance for the ladies to deposit with AmBank. The interest rate of 3.65% p.a. is quite good as there are not many FD promotions by banks at this moment.
