AmBank On The Spot Road Tax Renewal

I've previously shared on ways to renew road tax. Recently, I found out that AmBank also provides motor insurance/ takaful and road tax renewal for all at AmBank/ AmIslamic Bank branches. You have the privilege of instantly renewing your road tax at selected branches with “On The Spot” capability (immediate printing of road tax sticker).

There are only three easy steps required to renew your road tax and no registration card (car grant) is needed:

1. Visit selected AmBank/ AmIslamic Bank branch.
2. Provide your car registration number to the customer service representative.
3. Collect your road tax sticker on-the-spot.

If you're not able to visit the branch or the branch is too far from you, you can conveniently renew your road tax via phone and your road tax sticker will be delivered at your doorstep within 24 hours. Just call 03-2178 8400 and speak to AutoXpress Motor Insurance representative. Alternatively, you can fill in AutoXpress Motor Insurance online application form and the representative will contact you to guide you to complete the process.

This service is only available in Peninsular Malaysia and applicable for renewal of both motor insurance and road tax via AutoXpress only. A renewal service fee of RM 5 applies and AmBank Credit Cardholders can enjoy 0% Easy Payment Plan.
