AmBank Western Union Remittance Service RM10 Cash Rebate

Western  Union is a leader in global payment services, providing consumers and businesses with fast, reliable and convenient ways to send and receive money around the world, to send payments and to purchase money orders. Malaysia is an important market to Western Union with the company in its 12th year of service. Western Union has the largest customer base in Malaysia within the company’s operating network across the Asia Pacific region.

Western Union has more than 2300 locations across Malaysia. A total of 1800 locations are managed by 11 Malaysia banks and non-financial entities under their own banking or remittance licenses and the remainder managed by 28 Agents under the MSB Act, covering every major city and town in Malaysia. As one of Western Union partner, AmBank Group is giving out RM 10 cash rebate to its new or existing credit card-members/ CASA account-holders who use the Western Union Remittance Service from 23th January to 22nd May 2014.

To be entitled for the RM 10 cash rebate, customers must send a minimum of RM 2000 or receive a minimum of RM 3000 with Western Union Cash to Cash (C2C) service during the campaign period. The cash rebate is only applicable for the first 5000 transactions. The cash rebate will be credited into AmBank Group Credit Card or CASA within 8 weeks after the end of each month.

Each customer may get cash rebate more than once if every single transaction meet the minimum send/ receive amount. It's not possible to  accumulate the total of RM 2000 in two separate ‘Send Money Transaction’ or RM 3000 in two separate ‘Receive Money Transaction’. So eligible customers could get 0.50% cash rebate for sending money and 0.33% cash rebate for receiving money under this promotion.
