CIMB Clicks OctoSend

In September 2013, we talked about the new Kwik Account by CIMB Bank. The special feature of Kwik Account is that you can send money to anyone by email address or Malaysian mobile number. Now this feature is expanded to all CIMB Clicks users with CASA through OctoSend function.

OctoSend is a new feature called Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Banking. You can send money to your family and friends by keying in their email address or Malaysian mobile number. Then you will receive a Claim Code which needs to be shared with the recipient within 7 days. Recipient will need to key in the code to claim the money. 

If you are interested in using this feature, you need to login to CIMB Clicks to proceed further. If you are CIMB Clicks user with CASA, you just need to login to send money. If you are CIMB CASA holder without CIMB Clicks, you will have to register for CIMB Clicks first. If you do not have any CIMB CASA, you will need to register for Kwik Account. The same applies to recipient.

To receive money, the recipient will receive the money once he logs in to CIMB Clicks to claim by keying in the Claim Code. If the recipient did not claim the money within 7 days, the amount will expire and will be refunded to sender's account from the 8th day onwards. SMS notification will be sent to sender's registered mobile number when the money is claimed or the claim code has expired.
